Or a world in which you can't reasonably believe that any photo of a politician you see on social media hasn't been tampered with AI? As a society, we decide all the time that some problems are too complex or difficult or too politically inconvenient to solve. So we live with it. And if something doesn't change, the effects of widespread AI image editing might just become one of those problems.
