In the span of one morning this week, Russian airstrikes hit cities across Ukraine—some hundreds of miles from the frontline. Throughout the war, even when Russian troops haven't been able to reach Ukrainian cities, their missiles and rockets and artillery have.More than 6,000 civilians have been killed in Ukraine since Russia launched its campaign in February, according to the United Nations.
