Well, I applied to a lot of fancy colleges and didn't get in. I wanted to go to school in California because I would watch shows like The Newlywood Game and The Dating Game and Gidget, which was like, oh my God, that girl gets to surf after school. I can't believe it. So in the 60s and 70s, everything was happening in California.
