And most enjoyably for Frank, they are baking candy. And what was candy at this point in time? Well, I'm glad you asked. It's not chocolate. Chocolate is basically not a thing in America yet. Candy, though, was big. And specifically, we're talking about penny candy. gumdrops, licorice, all sorts of sugar-based sweets.
