Well, you know, I would just say that they had an opportunity in twenty twenty four when Biden dropped out to actually have an authentic primary process. And it lasted for about these 20 seconds. It took Biden to drop out. And then we now know get pressured by Kamala Harris to say, you better say that I'm the person that you want to succeed you.

I know what happened because, first of all, I'm glad that Spike has his Knicks colors on. Big game tomorrow night against the Pacers. And number two, I saw Denzel Washington and Othello the other night. It's an incredible performance. And the man's exhausted. And then he had to fly to Cannes and do this. So he's just exhausted. But, you know, Sonny Hostin says it's not a time to be political. The problem is that they have been political with the issue of Joe Biden since the very beginning, since the primaries. They didn't want him. They wanted Pete Buttigieg. They wanted Kamala Harris. They both blew up on the launch pad. So they finally acceded to the fact that they were going to be stuck with Joe Biden.

He emerged as the candidate. Then he emerged as the person during COVID who could potentially beat Donald Trump. So it has always been political and it has always compromised the country because this is the commander in chief. who 80 percent of the American public said in a CNN poll in September right before the election was not physically or mentally capable of doing the job.

So for me, it is absolutely I agree with her. It is not about politics. It is about the risk that was incurred in the White House, in the highest office in the land by all of these people enabling this person to continue to be president. And I think that the the accountability has to go back to that point.

not should he run again, should he be serving as president of the United States at that point? This is a real question that needs to be addressed. And if on top of all of that, he was also having treatments, if it turns out that he was also being treated for prostate cancer, which, by the way, is a treatable cancer, but now it's at a point where it's aggressive, these questions are very real.

And look at what happened, okay? We have a war in Ukraine that he said a minor incursion might be okay. Look at what's happened. You have thousands of people who've lost their lives in this war. Look at what happened in Israel. You know, these are serious consequences that are the result potentially of someone who perhaps was not up to the job. That goes way beyond politics.

President Trump going off on New Jersey Democratic Congresswoman LaMonica McIver after she was charged with assaulting two officers over that now infamous ICE clash at the Newark facility. Now, Congresswoman McIver is adamant that she did nothing wrong and says ICE is at fault for her allegedly assaulting them.

All eyes are now on minority leader Hakeem Jeffries, who said that the arrest of any Democratic lawmakers would be his red line. Eric Swalwell now promising that there will be more confrontations with ICE. Watch.

So, Kennedy, this facility in New Jersey has been used since 2000 for different detainees, federal detainees who were also in here. It was then closed for a few years and then it was reopened. I don't remember any of these people showing up to protest the detainment of people or to talk about whether or not it was a safe facility under the Biden administration or under previous administrations.

You know, they showed up, Jessica, for several days. Mayor Baraka showed up for several days. He's running for governor. It does appear that they wanted exactly the attention that they ended up getting. He was arrested. That charge was he was not charged. She was charged. What outcome are they actually trying to produce here? It's unclear.

So it should not come as a surprise. But President Trump and James Comey obviously have a lot of history. The former FBI director once fantasized about what it would be like. Could you actually lock up the president of the United States?

Because I couldn't really figure it out. She said the numbers don't necessarily add up. But I would just say this. Some of the response from Democrats. Is, you know, it's amazing what can be accomplished when the president isn't effing brain dead, says a senior congressional Democratic aide.

This whole Middle East trip shows for a lot that for a lot of negotiations, what you really need is somebody who has the energy and level headedness to actually get it done. And I think a lot of Democrats sit back, especially people who worked for Joe Biden, and they see that he never looked at these things strategically.

He went in there with a fist bump because he was only thinking 30 seconds ahead of that moment. Right. So what are people going to say when I actually greet him? Then at the G20 later, he shakes his hand as if that's some sort of big accomplishment with MBS, with the crown prince of Saudi Arabia.

But, you know, think back on this, because Joe Biden was never capable of this kind of bold action and thinking when it came to the Middle East. If it were up to Joe Biden, Osama bin Laden could still be alive. He was a no go. in that moment in the Situation Room, right? And that's who Joe Biden is.

He is not the person who's going to walk in there and shake up the chessboard and say, look, we have a lot of past. You know, you talk about the human rights violations. Look at Japan. Years after World War II, we figured out a way to work on the same page. No one denies 9-11. The fact of the matter is that after a war, which is what we had over 9-11, you have to start to put the pieces back in.

What he says, how about if we're friends and we isolate Iran? This is what President Trump is doing. Iran is looking at all of this going, we're out in the cold. And maybe it's actually time that we should make a deal. So that's the big message here. And President Trump said... No 30-page proposal for Iran. It's one page. You cannot have nuclear weapons.

If you pursue this program, we will obliterate you. So that's the choice that's on Iran's table. We're going to watch that really closely. But Biden never had the kind of boldness to do what we saw this week.

I have never in my life come upon a political statement on the beach made out of sea life. So I find this to be a bit too coincidental. Put up this one. All I would say is that sometimes you have to love the country more than you love your party and winning. And there was no person who stood out in terms of their integrity and their ability to say, I really care about this president. I like him, but I must say what I see. Short of maybe George Clooney.

At that point, this is there is no you cannot say that winning is important enough to put someone in office or even have them be the nominee who can't function. And I think there needs to be a hearing. And I think the question of why no one said, look, this might have been why there's a 25th Amendment. because there's no one at home. He's not meeting with his cabinet members. Months and months and months go by. The cabinet members are like, nobody calls me back. So that's a real problem in terms of national security and leadership and presidency.

on little things like if they have a flag on their lapel or maybe a flag on their car. These judgments are made instantly about them. And I think it's too bad. And I think that there are a lot of young men who feel like they have been put down and marginalized over the last decade in a big way. Now, Comey's claiming ignorance on this, deleting the post. But President Trump told Brett Baier it is plain and simple.
