I actually cannot picture it.
One of the most famous buildings on the planet.
Home to arguably the world's most famous family.
Today, it's the largest private house in the country with an astonishing 775 rooms, including a swimming pool.
There's even an ATM in the basement that dispenses cash only for the royals.
This is the story of Buckingham Palace.
House first hosted royal balls.
As well as a corgi, King George gave his daughters another present, something which isn't found in the average home, even today.
By the time the 1930s came around, no self-respecting grand house was complete without its own swimming pool.
And so George VI planned a surprise for his daughters, Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret, somewhere for them to have their weekly swimming lesson from the comfort of their own home.
It remains there to this day, but it's one of the most private parts of the palace.
No images of the interior have ever been made public.
And I've written a book about Buckingham Palace's interiors.
There were Marmite ones, which, you know, obviously are very good if you like Marmite.
And if you don't even know what Marmite is, then you need to study a bit of English culture.
I mean, literally, I know how to get to the secretary's room.
I know how to get to the West Wing.
Maybe it's entirely gold.
I don't know.
